Sustainability Strategy
The climate crisis currently poses the greatest challenge not only for society but also for companies. The Volkswagen Group—including Porsche Holding Salzburg—is committed to achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement and the European Green Deal.
Sustainability is a global responsibility that every company must take seriously. Our sustainability strategy is an integral part of our corporate principles and is also included in our “evolve 2030” strategy.
Responsible and climate-conscious action is at the heart of our daily work—across all business areas and throughout the entire supply chain.
- We strive to reduce resource consumption and minimize environmental impacts
- We are committed to respecting human and labor rights and ensuring good working conditions
- We comply with laws, internal regulations, and ethical standards
- We want to make sustainable mobility accessible to everyone, thereby strengthening our economic success
Our sustainability strategy focuses on seven key areas where we can make the greatest impact.
Our sustainability strategy is an integral part of our corporate principles, as set out in the Porsche Holding evolve 2030 strategy, and focuses on seven key areas that integrate environmental, social, and governance issues. We are aware of our global responsibility and the impact our activities and products have on the environment and society. We leverage the innovative power of the PHS global network in a targeted manner to permanently reduce our ecological footprint.
Our goals
A focus on sustainability, environmental protection, and diversity is essential to the long-term success of Porsche Holding Salzburg. To this end, we are focusing on three overarching goals by 2030: increasing sales of electric vehicles, consistently reducing our carbon footprint, and increasing the proportion of female leaders.
We are advancing these goals through seven priority areas. Each area includes the definition of further targets, KPIs, and corresponding measures. Further information can be found in the 2024 Sustainability Report.
Consistently on the path together
Responsible and sustainable business practices require the commitment of every employee at every location. That is why Porsche Holding Salzburg places particular emphasis on communication and dialogue with its employees. This includes transparent information, awareness-raising activities, and a clear commitment from management. We have sustainability coordinators and focus area leaders in all 29 of our countries, who take into account the specific circumstances of each site and drive change.
As a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG, our activities are aligned with the Group’s strategy. The “regenerate+” strategy aims to have a positive impact on nature and society around the world.
